Thanks for stopping by!

I’m a pastor in the PCUSA, mama to Clayton (age 6) Samuel (age 5) and Marina Lynn (born in January 2017).  I live with them and my husband, Elias Cabarcas, in our bilingual/bicultural home in San Antonio, TX.

I love the intersection between being pastor and parent and it’s my joy to help people think about raising their children to nurture their spirituality through simple practices. I go in to detail about these in my book and offer resources to make it easier on my Etsy store.

My hobbies are art (recently Bible Art Journaling) crochet, cooking, and poetry. I write about all of those things on this blog and also sprinkle in some posts on ministry for pastors to enjoy.

Other favorite things are strong coffee, cheese fries, podcasts, honest conversation and good ideas.

  • Leonard Anthony RichardsonIII

My late father, Rev. L.A. Richardson, Jr., was the founding pastor at Northwood. My younger brother, Chaplain Gil Richardson, lives in San Antonio and told me recently that you are a wonderful pastor. The next time that I am in San Antonio I hope to meet you and hear your sermon. Best wishes.

  • Congratulations on your book! I look forward to reading it!
